We are very pleased to send you the 2^nd ESV Newsletter with more information about the ESV Conference, the exhibition which runs parallel with the conference, and the accompanying events.

Technical Events

One of the most appealing topics during the ESV Conference is an attractive range of Technical Events, which is scheduled for June 18 and 19, 2009. The participants will have the opportunity to visit the Mercedes-Benz Plant in Sindelfingen, the Robert Bosch Semiconductor Plant in Reutlingen as well as the DEKRA Technology Center in Malmsheim. However, the undisputed highlight will be the Driving Experience on the Bosch Boxberg Proving Ground where the participants will have the opportunity to discover current and future safety technologies of Mercedes-Benz and Bosch and experience them firsthand.

Social Events

Also supporting the ESV Conference will be a range of Social Events such as the Welcome Reception, the Gala Dinner in the Mercedes-Benz Museum and several tours into Stuttgart and the greater Stuttgart area, which will provide participants with the opportunity to familiarize themselves more closely with the culture and people of Baden-Wuerttemberg. The ESV Exhibition

The exhibition which provides a special opportunity for exhibitors to present their safety solutions, forward-looking exhibits and research issues to an international expert public traditionally runs in parallel with the ESV Conference 2009 . The exhibition provides space for practical and tangible demonstrations and gives participants a chance to make contacts with important target groups in an innovative atmosphere. Call for Abstracts

Until October 8, 2008 you are also very welcome to submit your abstract, if you would like to present a paper during the ESV Conference 2009. Here you will have a chance to get information about the ESV Conference 2009 firsthand and, of course, the possibility of registering for the conference as well as for the exhibition.
